In-Kennel includes Companion DVD Videos!

Would you like to have an obedient dog but find your life a bit to hectic for the everyday commitment of training your dog?  Or you are located to far from us to commute to class, and do not have a resource for proper training, near your location.  The in-kennel option is for you.  Let a professional train your dog, and at the end of your dog's stay we will teach you how to command and handle your dog.  With Basic and Advanced Obedience you will receive written instructions, a training video, a video of your dog working, information packet and receive training sessions.  You must be 100% committed to provide maintenance training after the dog returns home. We prefer that owners train their dogs through our other courses, however we realize that busy schedules can prevent an owner from attending classes.  In-kennel training is much like how Police Dogs are trained, the dog gets trained by a trainer then pared with a handler, the handler is taught how to work the dog, the new handler must continue to work the dog and thus gain respect from the dog as well as control of the dog..  It is possible for this type of training to work but you must work the dog after in-kennel is done. Training the dog initially is the hard part and most time consuming.  After in-kennel training, you will make the dog perform his commands in everyday life situations, thus doing his obedience everyday, but not taking too much time out of your schedule, so it is less time consuming for you. 

2012 Pricing

Puppy In-Kennel does not include housebreaking or video of your dog working. But housebreaking information will be provided.

If you plan on doing Advanced then we require you to do Basic & Advanced at the same time.  Instead of sending the dog for Basic then sending the dog for Advanced at a later time.

Basic must be done by Precision K-9 before doing advanced. If Basic is done through our regular classes and not In-kennel, advanced prices and time frame may be increased.

*In-kennel is offered in the warmer months only ~ May 1st - September 1st, as our kennels are outside no indoor/outdoor runs however each kennel has a dog house, all kennels are covered and have solid spacers between each kennel. These kennels were not built to impress, they were initially built to temporarily house our own dogs. But with the interest in our in-kennel program we started accepting dogs, and no dog has complained yet.

*If you are wanting to do training during our off months & you are not willing to wait for the times offered, let us know and we will refer you to another In-Kennel trainer.

Dogs temperament must be assessed before training begins.

The amount of time it will take to train the dog with the in-kennel program will vary, the times listed above are approximate.

~Accepting dogs in kennel in order of Deposits received, and as available space allows. Please call before sending contract, to discuss your situation and to be approved for in-kennel training.

~If shipping a dog in for training you are responsible for... shipping details, all cost including shipping to and from Precision K-9 Services, all health certificate cost, food cost etc...

~No refunds on deposits made, make certain of all arrangements before committing!

Training will not begin on the dog until full payment is received.

Just a note to let you know how pleased we are with Duke’s training. He is a much calmer and better behaved as well as being trained. He responds to commands, heels well, and is 100% easier to manage. Duke’s being 1 year old and still a pup requires us to work with him on a consistent basis, but you certainly did a wonderful job with him. Your advice and follow-up is also much appreciated.
