Hammer, a Sable German Shepherd, was out of two German Imports, he started out to be Angie's Schutzhund Dog but at a young age was switched to Police work and was sold to Nitro Police Department. His brother Thor von Storm was to be Jason's dog and ended up also being sold, to Hurricane Police Department.

Hammer, now retired, has turned into a family dog living with his handler Brian, Brian's wife and their daughter. Hammer was a super Police Dog excelling in all phases. He was very high drive, Hammer had more drive than anyone dog needed. Strong willed, strong nerves, fast, hard bite, very sound and social, great recovery time with these dogs.

Hammers mother lived to be at least 10years old and Hammers father lived to be about sixteen years of age. Both sable. See info below on mother and father.

*On March 18, 2013 Hammer went to Rainbow bridge we was 15 years old.
