These Classes are available to the general public, & we train all breeds.
At Precision K-9 Services our training follows an individual outline for each class offered, however we understand that every dog is different, & because we teach ONE ON ONE we are able to better serve you & your dogs needs. If you have the need for a group situation we will provide a safe & proper environment for you & your dog.☺ Our classes are tailored to flow into the next level of training (i.e. Basic into Advanced). How you train your dog, (how you handle and correct) are preparing you both for the next level, & in turn, making it easier for you & your dog to learn.

(Private Instruction)
Our Puppy Class is designed to make the unruly puppy obedient without
obstructing his natural tendencies and mental growth. This class can be very
important for the family pet but also for those planning on having the dog
perform some type of work later in life. Behavior problems such as
chewing, jumping, barking & housebreaking are covered along with several
practical obedience commands.

Competition Obedience A.K.C. (Rally - Obedience ) or Schutzhund ("BH" - SchH1) obedience can also be provided upon request.

Most people today wish to have control over their dog without the
hindrance of a leash. Our Advanced class can give you these desired results. The
dog will be taught a wide range of commands which can be executed verbally, or
by visual cue. This class immediately follows our Basic Obedience program. Below is an example of the typical story we receive from our advanced clients. Another Victory for Kip 3/06 (received via e-mail)
Hey Angie,
Would you like to have an obedient dog but find your life a bit to hectic for the everyday commitment of training your dog? Or you are located to far from us to commute to class, and do not have a resource for proper training, near your location. The in-kennel option is for you. Let a professional train your dog, and at the end of your dog's stay we will teach you how to command and handle your dog. With Basic and Advanced Obedience you will receive written instructions, a video of your dog working, information packet and receive training sessions. You must be 100% committed to provide maintenance training after the dog returns home. We prefer that owners train their dogs through our other courses, however we realize that busy schedules can prevent an owner from attending classes. In-kennel training is much like how Police Dogs are trained, the dog gets trained by a trainer then pared with a handler, the handler is taught how to work the dog, the new handler must continue to work the dog and thus gain respect from the dog as well as control of the dog.. It is possible for this type of training to work but you must work the dog after in-kennel is done. Training the dog initially is the hard part and most time consuming. After in-kennel training, you will make the dog perform his commands in everyday life situations, thus doing his obedience everyday, but not taking too much time out of your schedule, so it is less time consuming for you. This service offers the customer single private sessions. Over the years we have had many calls from people wanting help with such things as housebreaking, crate training, getting the dog to come off leash, etc... Some people don't care if the dog sits on one command, or heels or any of the various things our other classes teach the dog. You may want one or two things out of the dog, it may be an obedience command or behavioral issue. Now you don't have to be committed to weeks of going to training classes.
Tracking
Personal Protection Age-1 Year & up Prerequisites--Basic, Advanced, & Temperament Test
Our temperament test is use to help us evaluate the dog that is showing aggressive behavior. This test is also used for the evaluation of working ability (protection, search & rescue, etc...). If you would like to do our TT & want know what is involved please call to discuss it. Age-1 Year & up
How we deal with aggression will depend on the type of aggression problem you are having with your dog. A temperament test may need to be performed, we suggest this with people aggression of any kind. After the temperament test is performed then the course of action will be discussed. If your dog has dog aggression of any kind, then we suggest first you must become Alpha over the dog by way of obedience and other various methods, which are discussed in Obedience class. Then the process of working with this issue can begin. We also deal in other forms of behavior issues, including but not limited to, fear, anxiety, excitement, phobias, jumping, nipping, chewing, digging, barking, housebreaking, chasing, etc... ____________________________________________________________________________
